  • Sustaining Energy in Racial Justice Work: Posed questions about the motivations and limitations to racial equity work in our Central New York communities. Have we been able to sustain the motivations that came with the killing of George Floyd nearly two years ago? Where have we found success? Hosted by Pete Willner, Strategic Partnership Manager for The El-Hindi Center for Dialogue and Action.
  • Mindful Wellness “Cozy Hour”:  This session presented an opportunity to come and talk about self-care, while getting to practice some mindfulness activities with our hosts, Jamie Cook and Grace Carlic. This session was a collaboration between the El-Hindi Center for Dialogue and Action and the Center for New Americans at InterFaith Works. (March 2022)
  • Leaning into Hope: This session picked up on themes revealed in our January conversation. The theme is “Leaning into Hope: What does the Beloved Community Look like in the Era of COVID-19?” (February 2022)
  • Beloved Community: This session focused on support we give our community and identifying places in our community that need our support. This month’s conversation honors Dr. Martin Luther King who wrote extensively about the vision of the Beloved Community. (January 2022)
