Newspaper Reports Halt in Refugee Resettlement to Syracuse

InterFaith Works President and CEO Beth Broadway and Felicien Seruhungu, a case manager for the agency’s Center for New Americans, were quoted this week in The Post-Standard article “Trump policies stop the flow of refugees to Syracuse, once a resettlement magnet.” Broadway spoke about how InterFaith has adjusted in the past year to the downturn in resettlements and the impact on the Syracuse economy. Seruhungu’s background as a refugee and his greeting of a newly arrived refugee from the Congo at the airport in Syracuse were also featured in the article.
