InterFaith Works’ Center for New Americans provides resettlement and post-resettlement services to help refugee families in Syracuse reestablish their lives and overcome the barriers to successful integration in their new communities.
The Ahmed and El-Hindi Center for Dialogue serves as regional hub for constructive community engagement. Programs and activities invite local citizens to join together in dialogue about pressing community concerns, to build bridges of understanding across racial, ethnic and religious differences, and to develop action plans for change.
InterFaith Works’ Spiritual Care Program provides interfaith chaplaincy services to more than 2,000 institutionalized people each month..The program also addresses important life issues through educational events, outreach activities and facilitation of The Post-Standard newspaper’s Daily Inspiration.
